Job Description
Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs soft tissue masses and traumatic injuries. Our General Surgeon is always on call at Springfield Hospital for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy surgery to relieve bowel obstruction or repair of complex lacerations. Some commonly performed surgical procedures include:
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
NonBillable Orientation: 0hrs
OT: NO MULTIPLIER. OT paid at flat hourly rate
Holiday CallBack multipliers: 1.25%
Call: 4xx/hour

Requirement description :
- 2 years of current OR experience in a hospital setting Required
- Circulator w/ strong Ortho experience
- Previous Travel Preferred
- Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications MUST be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys BLS Facility will not pend license/certs)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Vermont
Weekend Requirements : TBD
On Call Requirements : Approx 10 call shifts/month. Call consists of: MondayThursday 3.30p7a. FridaySunday 7a7p. Call split with staff
