Job Description:

As an Accountant with our clients organization you will play a key role in managing financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights to support decisionmaking processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
   
• Prepare and analyze financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data identifying and addressing any discrepancies or errors.
  
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts working closely with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  
• Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management highlighting areas for improvement or concern.
  
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
   
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions ensuring timely processing of invoices payments and collections.
  
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
  
4. Tax Compliance:
   
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential implications for the organization.
  
5. Financial Analysis:
   
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends assess financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
  
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for management as required.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred.
  
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferably within the hospitality industry.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
