We are looking for a Construction Project and Planner to join our clients team. You will be responsible for planning scheduling and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers subcontractors and other stakeholders to create and maintain project schedules allocate resources and ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently and on time.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is Maltas leader in the Hospitality & Leisure sector.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project schedules that encompass all phases of construction including design procurement construction and commissioning.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate manpower equipment and materials to various projects to ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
- Critical Path Analysis: Identify critical paths within project schedules and proactively manage potential delays by proposing solutions and adjustments.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to align their schedules with project timelines and monitor their progress.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report project progress against the established schedule highlighting any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Change Management: Assess the impact of change orders on project schedules and work with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project teams clients and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed of schedule changes and project status.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in construction project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6 Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction.
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
WORKING TIME
Monday to Friday from 08:00 till 16:30 with 30 minutes break.
