Lead Engineer Building Construction

• Lead and manage building construction projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to project timelines budgets and quality standards.
  
• Provide technical direction and guidance to project teams ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions.
  

• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers designers and technical staff.

• Collaborate with architects contractors and other stakeholders in the development of project plans schedules and budgets.
  
• Ensure the efficient allocation of resources and the implementation of best practices in project management.
  

• Apply advanced engineering principles to analyze and solve complex problems related to building construction.
  
• Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
  

• Oversee quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards specifications and project requirements.
  
• Conduct regular reviews of engineering designs calculations and construction documentation.
  

• Act as a key point of contact for clients addressing their needs concerns and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  
• Participate in client meetings presentations and discussions to align project objectives with client expectations.
  

• Monitor project costs and make strategic decisions to keep the project within budget constraints.
  
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on project financials to senior management.
  

• Enforce safety protocols and standards on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  
• 8 years of progressive experience in building construction with a focus on project management and leadership roles.
  
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (COREN/CORBON).
  
• Structural design background
  
• Experience managing mass housing projects
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficient in project management software and relevant engineering tools.
