Job Title: HR Manager

Job Description:


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team and operate from our Head Office in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a proven track record in managing all aspects of human resources within an organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with the organizations goals and objectives. Provide insights guidance and direction to senior management on HR matters.

  2. Talent Acquisition: Lead and oversee the recruitment and selection process ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

  3. Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance handling. Promote a positive workplace culture.

  4. Performance Management: Implement and improve performance appraisal processes ensuring fair evaluations and employee development. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

  5. Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws.

  6. Training and Development: Identify training and development needs and coordinate programs to enhance employees skills and capabilities.

  7. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  8. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.

  9. HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on HR key performance indicators and provide datadriven insights to support decisionmaking.

  10. HR Technology: Stay updated on HR technology trends and identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the use of technology.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Masters degree in HR or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Kolkata with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for HR management.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Excellent analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
