Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Site)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team at our industrial site. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical systems and operations ensuring efficiency safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical systems and equipment on the industrial site.
   
2. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery and equipment.
   
3. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
   
4. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including maintenance operations and safety to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with overall site operations.
   
5. Assist in the design and implementation of upgrades or modifications to existing mechanical systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
   
6. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities equipment performance and any incidents or failures for analysis and improvement purposes.
   
7. Stay updated on advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and practices recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
   
8. Participate in safety meetings audits and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
   
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in an industrial setting.
   
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps conveyors boilers HVAC and other industrial machinery.
   
4. Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis purposes.
   
5. Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
   
6. Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
   
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
   
8. Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
   
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to industrial environments.
   
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
