Container xChange is the leading online platform for container logistics and operations. We simplify the logistics of global trade making the processes surrounding the container as simple as the container itself by providing a neutral infrastructure for all logistics companies.

Our team of 150 likeminded xChangees from 65 nationalities has made this possible! We have scaled far beyond the small startup we once were and continue to disrupt the industry together.

The Role:

As an Account Executive your focus will be B2B sales of our SaaS platform where you are responsible for closing and bringing in new clients to the xChange platform. This means finding new opportunities conducting demos to present the xChange platform and leveraging your negotiation skills to close them as a new paying client for xChange.

As you will be targeting our Chinese Market you will need to be fluent in the local language and ideally have experience working with APAC clients.

Location: This position requires you to work from Shanghai as per Chinas time zone.

Requirements

Your Impact:

  • Build manage and convert your international pipeline of prospective clients (we use Salesforce as our CRM)
  • Set up and conduct product demos to close new customers
  • Close new deals through remote demos (e.g. through whereby/zoom/skype) as well as inperson (at trade and roadshows)
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to optimize lead qualification and customer approach
  • Work closely with our highperformance SDR team to identify the best sales opportunities
  • Master Salesforce with our Sales Managers to track key insights throughout the sales process
  • Work with our Head of Sales as well as our Customer Success team to identify strategic targets (e.g regions client types etc.) and commercial partnerships

What else is important for the role

  • Prior sales or business development experience: Ideally in B2B or SaaS or within a highly datadriven sales structure.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills: You can effectively qualify leads and bring them onboard.
  • A strong desire to master container logistics and international trade: You are committed to continuous learning and improving your expertise.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is a must: Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
