Job Description

ROLE: Telesales Agent(Fintech/Financial Service)

JOB TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION: GRA Ikeja

Job Summary

The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic and resultsdriven Telesales Agent. He/she will play a key role in promoting our financial products and services to potential clients over the phone.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate leads through cold calling directory calling email marketing and other marketing channels available.
  • Meet sales target (value and count) set within the given deadline by selling Loan products to prospective customers.
  • Contact prospects and leads by telephone to promote and sell
  • the company s Loan products & services.
  • Qualify leads and ensure borrowers meet loan eligibility criteria and are interested in the loan products offered.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information about the company s products and charge potential customers to help them make an informed decision.
  • Build rapport and maintain a healthy and professional relationship with customers to secure repeat sales.
  • Accurately register and document all sales activities including lead generation lead qualification sales made and reasons for rejections.
  • Ensure all sales and customer engagement activities are recorded and comply with the company s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently follow up with leads and ensure that prospects are converted to customers within a timeframe.
  • Provide customer support to existing customers by handling customers inquiries and complaints and ensuring immediate and adequate resolution to complaints.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cooltempered and able to handle rejection.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (Other Nigerian Languages is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in any related field.
