Product Owner

Summary:

The Product Owner is responsible for the tactical implementation of the Product strategy. Will work closely with Product Managers Business Analysts Engineers and leadership to create user stories and prioritized backlogs that are valueadd metric driven and contribute to the success of the business. This role will foster effective crossteam collaboration drive testing and enable efficient delivery of product enhancements using agile methodologies with the goal of improving the overall customer and team member experiences and efficiencies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Determines and articulates Minimum Viable Product; that is identifies those portions of an overall vision that are minimally necessary to achieve company objectives.
• Creates maintains and prioritizes an Agile teams work backlog by assessing business and customer value.
• Collaborates with other Product Owners to manage interteam dependencies.
• Focuses on outcomes sets clear success criteria.
• Challenges status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas.
• Possesses excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business associates.
• Ability to work independently and be a selfstarter Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Collaborates with wider team on project milestones and provides organizational management and stakeholder with relevant updates.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or two (2) years of additional Business Analysis Product Owner Programming etc. Anything relevant in the Product or Tech space would offset the need for a Bachelors
• Five (5) years of Business Analysis or Product Owner experience as an individual contributor preferred
• Previous experience in Mortgage Banking Fintech and/or associated lines of business
