Role & Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in building a worldrenowned immersive gamified experience. You will be tasked with working on a unique and largescale project to develop some of the most complex and captivating open immersive worlds. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building automating and supporting development and production environments both onpremises and in the cloud.
- Providing operational insights by deploying documenting and maintaining logging monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Exhibiting a Tshaped skillset with handson development as needed including programming in languages such as JS Python and potentially Golang C or C#.
- Collaborating with distributed Engineering teams and providing proactive support for architectural design to ensure secure and scalable solutions for building highperformance immersive experiences.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- 5 years of handson DevOps experience in development and operational perspectives.
- Handson development experience with JS and Python with additional experience in Golang C or C# being ideal.
- Good knowledge of cloud technologies specifically AWS.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and server configuration including familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu.
- Experience working on game systems networked MMO games and/or clientserver applications.
- Exposure to integrating and maintaining WebRTC streaming applications including TURN STUN SFU and signaling servers.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration frameworks such as Docker Kubernetes and Helm.
- Familiarity with log aggregation and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack Datadog etc.
- Strong knowledge of software and infrastructure security best practices.
