General Technician

Safety and Housekeeping Responsibilities: • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Safely conducting tasks. • Keeping workstations clean and debris-free. • Cleaning assigned areas as instructed. Operating Environment, Framework & Boundaries: The Technician primarily works within the management offices of ECGC but may need to visit other departments or work at different project sites as required, including temporary locations during special events. Communications and Working Relationships: Effective communication professionally and courteously is essential, utilizing appropriate mediums based on urgency and ensuring alignment with ECGC's culture, values, and brand guidelines. Problem Solving & Complexity: Technicians are expected to utilize problem-solving techniques to address issues and collaborate on solutions with direct reports. Decision Making Authority & Responsibility: Technicians have the authority to resolve customer problems up to a certain value to ensure satisfactory outcomes. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Secondary education completion with a vocational certificate as an electrician. • 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance. • Proficiency in electrical work with knowledge of plumbing and carpentry. • Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding). • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards, evaluate objectively, use common tools, follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and operate miscellaneous office equipment
