Who we are:

CV VC is an earlystage venture capital investor with Swiss DNA focusing on blockchain technology projects on a global basis. Under the brand CV Labs it operates a Web3 ecosystem builder with hubs in Switzerland Liechtenstein South Africa Germany and Portugal which nurtures a global ecosystem through four core activities: the CV Labs startup accelerator global coworking spaces research reports and conferences & events.

Who you are:

We are looking for a dedicated team player with an entrepreneurial growth mindset (mid to senior level) to lead our ecosystem team. As part of our growth strategy to further expand the global ecosystem of Web3 protocols startups investors and corporates looking to get involved in this space your mission is to manage and grow our ecosystem business with hubs in Switzerland (headquarter) Vaduz Cape Town Lisbon and Berlin.

Our ecosystem business caters to the needs of all stakeholders in the Web3 space and offers a wide range of products and services such as coworking spaces conferences and events commercial partnerships with industry players and our industry reports. You will also lead our marketing and communications team for the group liaise with our operations team and be part of the leadership team overseeing both the investment and ecosystem activities of our business where exploring synergies between the two units could lead to crossselling or new opportunities.

Tasks

What youll be doing:

  • Define budget and sales goals allocate tasks and monitor execution while supporting team members across all activities and locations and serve as the main point of contact between clients partners and internal teams.
  • Guide team and coordinate the sales process from outreach and followups through to closing.
  • General administration including billing workflows expenses payments and purchases.
  • Manage existing build and establish new partnerships with corporates startups developers investors projects foundations protocols media and governments that are already in or looking to tap into the Web3 space.
  • Oversee the organization and hosting of conferences internal and external events workshops and meetups to promote knowledgesharing networking and collaboration within the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Plan and supervise the publication of both existing and new publications and research formats.
  • Communicate and collaborate with event communications/marketing operations investment and general team members to ensure that partner needs are met.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory developments in the Web3 space and share relevant insights with the team.
  • Collaborate closely with our investment unit to support fundraising activities evaluate potential investment opportunities and foster crossselling opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content including speaking at events blog posts reports and presentations to showcase our expertise and thought leadership in the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Guide our marketing and communications team (internal & external) including branding design and global visibility.
  • Compile marketing and reporting materials securing agile and structured customer relationship management.
  • Manage service providers and noncommercial partnerships and memberships.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • 10 years of relevant experience (i.e. leading a team managing partner relationships & having P&L responsibility)
  • Solid understanding of the Web3 landscape and the various stakeholders ideally with an established network
  • Degree in a related field such as business administration management or similar
  • Fluent in English (German preferred but not required)
  • Interest in technology and startups (and ideally Web3 / blockchain technology)
  • Ability to interact with and develop strong relationships with clients & strategic partners
  • Excellent written/oral communication; welldeveloped interpersonal skills including tact and patience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet budget goals
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated team player thats able to work independently
  • International mindset and outstanding interpersonal skills excelling at interacting with other teams on complex projects
  • Ability to remain calm and solutionsoriented during stressful situations
  • Strong command of Google Workspace and Hubspot as well as working knowledge of event/production tools such as Eventbrite Canva etc.

Start of the position: as soon as possible

Location: Zug Switzerland
