Who You Are
We are looking for a Microsoft Cloud Engineer/Architect - Azure & O365 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise solutions in the Microsoft Azure environment. You should be a highly technical individual with a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Office 365, and Entra ID. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and SharePoint/OneDrive migration.
What You Will Do
- Assess, architect, design, implement, and troubleshoot complex enterprise solutions around Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Design and implement secure cloud environments using Entra ID, Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Purview.
- Design and implement secure Azure Virtual Desktop solutions for a variety of environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based.
- Provide support, migrations, optimizations, and deployments for a wide range of Microsoft Azure/Office 365, SQL, Microsoft 365 technologies, Azure Virtual Machines (VM), RDS server setup, management, and maintenance.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) / Tier III support for the operations team as it pertains to the Microsoft landscape.
- Assist in the development and perform the deployment of policies and other best practice configurations using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Security Center, Azure Virtual Desktop, and related components.
- Troubleshoot moderate to complex issues across the breadth of Azure, Office 365, and SharePoint/OneDrive solutions.
- Integrate Microsoft Purview and Azure Sentinel to gain a comprehensive view of your organization's data and security posture.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Microsoft Azure and Office 365 technologies and trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure support, design, and/or implementation of Microsoft or similar technologies
- 3+ years of professional experience planning, architecting, configuring, and deploying to Azure, working with Entra ID and Azure Virtual Desktop
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft core platform technologies based on Windows Server and Azure
- Experience with data governance and security solutions, such as Microsoft Purview and Azure Sentinel
- Experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Azure Analysis Services, Azure Site Recovery, Office 365, Entra ID, and High availability
- Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure technologies such as networking, storage, and security
- Expert in DNS, Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams infrastructures and how they integrate with the larger Microsoft collaboration platform
- Expert in managing Microsoft Active Directory / AD Federated Services, Azure AD, Entra ID.
- Expert in defining and implementing security best practices for Azure, MDM, and Office 365 (Multi-Factor Authentication, DKIM, Advanced Threat Protection)
- Significant hands-on experience in administering large O365 (Office, Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, Azure AD, Intune), Exchange hybrid environments
- Strong Knowledge of Office 365 support technologies including but not limited to, Active Directory, DirSync, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies
- Implementation-level knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure including Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure SSO, and MFA
- Remain current on Microsoft solutions including Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, SCCM, and Windows servers
- Strong understanding of security best practices and industry regulations
- Expert knowledge of PowerShell.

- Ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
