Position Overview:
Are you ready to elevate your career We are looking for a dedicated Precision Machine Operator who not only meets but exceeds industry standards. This role is crucial to our success focusing on safety quality and efficiency in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Master Operator: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of company safety customer and inspection specifications. Operate manufacturing equipment with proficiency with the potential to move to a higher class upon successful training.
- Autonomous Operation: Execute manufacturing tasks independently with the ability to operate equipment solo while maintaining collaboration with an Operator 1.
- Versatile Skills: Utilize various tools and equipment including airoperated hand tools hightemperature equipment measuring instruments hydraulic forming presses band saws debur machines and drill presses.
- Attention to Detail: Execute projects with meticulous attention to detail ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team or autonomously fostering a collaborative and resultsdriven environment.
Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Possess practical experience with strong technical skills analytical ability and a decisive operational focus.
- ResultsOriented: Demonstrate a resultsdriven and solutionoriented mindset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently stand for extended periods and perform tasks with precision.
- Quality Assurance: Assess production quality make necessary adjustments and record essential production data.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Competent in product evaluation reading blueprints understanding GD&T and verifying dimensions with precision measuring tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to work overtime alternate shifts and with close tolerances.
Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Highly motivated selfstarter with strong reading writing and math skills.
- Regular attendance punctuality and dependability are essential.
- Exposure to complex materials systems and processes.
- Interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and written processes.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident.
Physical Requirements:
While performing duties the employee must showcase manual dexterity effective communication and the ability to stand walk and lift 25 lbs consistently. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the capability to adjust focus.
