Job Title: General Manager Car Dealership (MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE)

Location: West London MultiSite Responsibility

Salary: Competitive salary 115k OTE

Full Time and Permanent 45 hours a week

Our client is an independent dealer group. which operates a network of 61 dealership sites in the UK and Channel Islands and is one of the top 25 Sunday Times big companies to work for. They are looking for an EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE General Manager to join them.

You will inspire the team to excel deliver grow and develop the business within the defined region and maintain quality service by embedding and enforcing policies and procedures. Increase managements effectiveness by training coaching and counselling site managers and colleagues whilst communicating values strategies and purpose. We have plenty to offer in return. Requirements

  • Act as a business leader across the dealerships and services within the CMA.
  • Meet and exceed through the effective management of resources KPIs in terms of volume penetration resource management and profitability.
  • Grow and develop the business within the defined region.
  • Motivate all colleagues to deliver exemplary customer service.
  • Manage and coach departmental managers to grow and develop the talent pool.
  • Find new and innovative ways to grow the business.
  • Meet the needs of a diverse customer group and extend the market reach of the CMA.
  • Fully utilise all the CMA resources.
  • Able to lead manage and develop large teams and coordinate the smooth running of a business.
  • To have effective and accurate decision making based on sound analysis and judgement.
  • To have excellent organisation skills to have a constant focus on how processes and systems can be better and more efficient.
  • Understand profit and loss statements and drive for goals and targets to deliver performance.
Essential skills and Experience:
  • Understanding of the complexities of running a franchised operation with extensive diverse and often conflicting objectives.
  • Experience working in a complex B2B or B2C environment with responsibility for people and resources.
