Dealflow is a nextgeneration invoicing platform for online entrepreneurs and the only of its kind to offer free global transfers instant payouts and workflow automation in one place.

Tasks

Design implement and maintain backend integrations with the following external systems:

• Open banking platforms
• Accounting systems

Own the design process implementation and verification of framework components leveraging standard software engineering methodologies

Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design that creates a joyful experience for the end user.

Be responsible to drive innovation improving performance scalability and maintainability.

Work on a disruptive financial product thats still in its early stages

Requirements

• Experience in python (8 years)
• Experience in AWS ecosystem (8 years)
• Experience with banking integrations (5 years)
• Experience with accounting integrations (2 years)
• Experience with payment gateways and processors like Stripe (2 years)
• Experience with backend development and different technologies (MQs caches architectural patterns etc..)
• Experience with writing tests (Unit / Integration / Performance)
• Hands on with performance and optimisation problems and demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
• High attention to detail obsession for scalable systems
• Handson with CI/CD. We use GitHub Actions AWS code deploy
• Working knowledge of cyber security
• Experience with postman

How will we assess things

We care about dialogue. In many cases we might learn more about you from the questions you ask us than we do from the questions we ask you.

Our steps:

1. Initial interview with Seb (30 45 minutes): Lets talk about what makes you you. And your accomplishments so far.
2. Second interview with Sid: Run us through your technical abilities. Were a product first company so this is important.
3. Final interview with Seb (1h)
4. Reference call withs your (former) colleagues. At the same time youll get to talk to one of our investors and one of our advisors. There you can ask any question.
5. We make an offer
