Hotel NameCompany Description Rixos Qetaifan Island NorthRixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the countrys biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island Norths Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the worlds highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres. Job Description Director of Operations - HotelThis position is responsible for assisting with the planning and managing of the overall operations of the Hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate, and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that all administrative records related to the owners governments, and hotel operations are updated promptly. Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the operational departments annual and long-term goalsConduct daily briefings with management on current key activitiesEnsures optimal compliance with corporate focus audit, local health and safety, and other statutory regulationsTo manage operational efficiency in the hotel to enhance the Guest experience and reduce operational costsAnticipate and address guest issues, establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfactionCommunicate in an effective and timely manner with General ManagerTo manage emergencies that may arise to minimize possible damage, loss, or injury to any guests, Heartist, or Company propertyTo regularly observe the team in the operation, review operational performance, and lead the team to successBe visible around the Hotel and show an active interest in our colleagues welfareOversee F&B, Rooms, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and other operations departments and support the security team in achieving overall results. Follow appropriate protocol in communicating with the appointed Owners representative and keep the General Manager informed of such communications Qualifications High School / College diploma or equivalent qualificationsMinimum of 2-3 years of similar experienceHigh degree of professionalism with a strong understanding of hotel operations and business acumenExcellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English languageAbility to communicate in a local language where the hotel operates is desirableStrong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
