This is a remote position.

As a Broker Admin specializing in Asset Finance in Australia your role will be pivotal in supporting the seamless processing of asset finance transactions within a brokerage firm. You will work closely with brokers clients and financial institutions to ensure the efficient and compliant processing of asset finance applications. This position requires a detailoriented individual with strong organizational skills and a good understanding of the Australian financial market.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Loan Application Processing:
    • Receive and review asset finance applications submitted by clients and brokers.
    • Verify the completeness and accuracy of documentation.
    • Input relevant information into the loan processing system.
  2. Client and Broker Communication:
    • Communicate with clients and brokers to gather additional information or clarification on asset finance applications.
    • Provide regular updates on the status of applications and address inquiries.
    • Collaborate with brokers to ensure a smooth application process.
  3. Lender Coordination:
    • Liaise with financial institutions and lenders to submit asset finance packages.
    • Follow up with lenders to obtain approval decisions and ensure timely processing.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Australian lenders.
  4. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Ensure all asset finance transactions comply with Australian regulatory requirements.
    • Verify that documentation meets industry standards and legal guidelines.
    • Collaborate with compliance officers to address any regulatory concerns.
  5. Asset Valuation and Risk Management:
    • Work with appraisers and assessors to determine the value of assets being financed.
    • Assess risks associated with different types of assets and make recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
  6. Documentation Management:
    • Organize and maintain accurate and uptodate files for asset finance transactions.
    • Track and manage documentation timelines to meet regulatory and internal deadlines.
    • Prepare files for underwriting and closing processes.
  7. Problem Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in asset finance applications.
    • Proactively address challenges that may arise during the processing of asset finance transactions.
  8. Reporting:
    • Generate and maintain reports related to asset finance processing activities.
    • Provide regular updates to management on the status of asset finance pipelines.
  9. Industry Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about changes in the Australian financial market regulatory updates and industry best practices.
    • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of asset finance trends.





Requirements

  • 2 years experience in the mortgage broking industry similar role or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and trends in finance and customer service
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, etc.) Proven experience in Power BI report development and data modeling. Strong knowledge of data transformation, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques. Proficiency in either SQL, DAX, M language and experience with Microsoft Fabric a plus Familiarity with accounting and financial concept is a plus. Excellent communication skills to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Any relevant certifications in Power BI are a plus.
