As the Sales Incharge/ manager for the new furniture showroom you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our sales operations. Your focus will be on setting up effective sales processes ensuring a positive customer experience and driving the initial sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a e sales strategy for new showroom.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to attract customers and generate sales.
Customer Engagement:
  • Personally engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product knowledge and information to guide customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Work closely with the factory to ensure a diverse and appealing furniture inventory.
  • Organize and arrange the showroom layout for optimal product visibility.
Sales Process Development
  • Create and implement sales processes from customer entry to final sales.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotions to drive initial sales.
Operational Setup:
  • Establish efficient operational procedures for the showroom.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless coordination (e.g. logistics finance).
Budget Planning:
  • Work with the management team to establish and manage the initial sales budget.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure costeffective operations.
Performance Metrics:
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the showroom's initial performance.
  • Regularly evaluate and report on the showroom's progress against set targets.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in furniture sales or a related field.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our client is a Metal products manufacturing company with Inhouse Design Sampling and Production set up. They have the capabilities of manufacturing small components to largescale Metal Products. Having 20 yrs of a successful track record of manufacturing and marketing products in India and overseas. As part of their growth and diversification plans they now wish to enter the Indian Retail segment with the launch of their first showroom.
They have World Class stateoftheart fully automatic PSBB Production Line from Italy in addition to 3 factories manufacturing Furniture for Export and domestic customers. Sprawling over 1.5 Lac sqft of area the three factories have a workforce of more than 500 people in different departments.
