About the team and role
Successful candidate would be mainly working in the Bond Structuring and Execution team on primary market deals. Issuances can range from simple plain vanilla debt, commercial papers, market linked debentures to complex structures such as Covered Bonds and FPI investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the deal contours & structuring the deal basis the investor & client requirements, which takes care of the existing regulatory regime and standard practices in bond market / other product, if necessary.
  • Preparation of Term Sheets, Cash Flows, Liaising with Lawyers for definitive Documentation like Information Memorandum, Facility Agreements, Security Documents and Trust Deeds etc.
  • Understanding the law & regulations with respect to the Yubi Invest product offerings to facilitate the negotiations on complex legal documents.
  • Coordinating with multiple counterparties such as Issuer/ Borrower, Investors, Trustee, Law Firm, Rating Agency, Stock Exchange, Depository, RTA, Auditor, etc. to facilitate the execution process.
  • Addressing queries with regards to Cashflows or Product or a particular instrument or regulatory guidelines to investors and/or Issuers.
  • Helping Sales/Ops team with specific bond related inputs, cash flows if needed, imparting basic understanding regarding product nuances.
  • Working with Product Team and give them inputs, when required, for building of tech product.
  • Working with marketing team, when required, to drive marketing efforts on various social media, print media handles for explaining deal structures.


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of wealth segment and DCM product offerings
  • Work experience of 2 to 4 years with DCM/Treasury/Investment Banking/Rating Agency/Corporate Banking will be preferred.
  • Qualifications: CA/MBA/CFA
  • Certification: CA/CFA/FRM will be given a preference
  • Be able to structure, execute and drive the deal end to end with business teams and client to meet their financing requirement : to co-ordinate with the Issuers and Investors team, Lawyers, Trustees, Rating Agency, Valuation Agency etc. and ensure funding within expected timelines.
  • Be able to resolve queries coming from Investors / potential Investors regarding the Product and terms of a particular instrument.
  • Mediate / negotiate (if required) the terms of a transaction within regulatory landscape and capture the intent as required.
  • Should be brilliant with numbers, interpreting data / terms / clauses and addressing issues and be at the same time be able to build business relationships, talk to various levels of an organisation (CXOs to Analysts) for structure and deal related discussions and to get work done by various people.
  • Should be well versed in MS Excel & other office suite of products
  • Ability to take ownership of the task assigned and work successfully under minimum supervision
  • Possess a good eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure1) Strong understanding of DCM & product offerings
  • Willing to go out of his/her way to forge relationships within and outside the organisation.
