We’re investing hundreds of millions of pounds to deliver the Mayor’s vision for the London-style integrated transport network that our region needs and deserves.

We’re delivering a new fleet of trains on our Merseyrail network, new stations, zero emission hydrogen buses, a safer 212km cycling network, and smarter tickets, meaning that we are well on the way to delivering the Mayor’s vision.

It’s an exciting time to join us in this critical role. Last October, the Mayor took the decision to take back control of our bus network. You’ll lead the work to implement the new bus franchising model for the city region,

progress the ambition for full devolution of the regions rail network, and lead on the overall commissioning of a fully integrated, multi-model transport network.
