Journeyman Plumber

Warne Plumbing and Heating LLC is currently seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our company. We are committed to providing excellent service in commercial industrial and residential plumbing and heating. Candidate should possess mechanical knowledge and skills the ability to work in multiple environments and be dependable and organized.

The Journeyman Plumber assembles installs or repairs pipes fittings or fixtures of domestic water sanitary sewer storm sewer heating and other piping systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. The Journeyman Plumber is also responsible for delivering high quality work and productivity.

Responsibilities may include

Complete all work in accordance with federal state and local codes

Prepare fabricate and install plumbing and piping systems

Read and understand blueprints

Repair and install various pipes including iron steel copper PVC and cast iron

Determine the proper tools and equipment necessary for job completion

Operate power tools and equipment

Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order

Other duties as assigned

Requirements and skills

Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program (Preferred)

Journeyman Plumber license/certification (Required within 120 days of employment)

Strong knowledge of plumbing codes regulations and safety procedures (Preferred)

Strong mechanical skills (Preferred)

Able to legally work in the United States (Required)

Valid driver s license (Required)

Ability to follow instructions (Required)

Ability to work independently and as a team (Required)

Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting climbing and working in confined spaces (Required)

This is a fulltime position with additional hours as needed.
