Procurement Officer

1. Sourcing: Research and assess potential suppliers conduct negotiations and secure favorable prices and terms for the company.
   
2. Contract Management: Prepare negotiate and execute contracts with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance ensuring adherence to contract terms and proactively address any issues.
   
3. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
   
4. Procurement Support: Provide support to various departments on procurementrelated matters ensuring compliance with sourcing and procurement policies.
   
5. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including contracts purchase orders and supplier information.
   
6. Compliance: Ensure procurement activities align with applicable laws regulations and organizational policies.
   
7. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement activities to senior management and stakeholders.
   
8. Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
   

Requirements

• Degree in Purchasing Management Supply Chain Management Business Management or a related field
  
• An excellent written and oral command in Kiswahili and English
  
• Knowledge of general accounting principals
  
• Proficient in relevant computer software
  
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  
• 2 years in procurement field
  
• PSPTB certificate is an added advantage
