We are looking for a handson Academic Lead to work in a dynamic fastpaced and fastgrowing company. The successful candidate will need to be versatile eager and have a thorough understanding of best practices. Were searching for an tech savvy and energetic candidate that brings more than the usual 95 atmosphere to our exciting business! Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure governance structure is aligned to policies processes and procedures.
- Academic regulations and framework are updated and shared across the business via the CLO.
- Develop monitor and implement a quality assurance handbook.
- Ensure all accreditation applications audits and moderations are timeously renewed and submitted.
- Ensure all requirements of accreditation are met as well as regulatory and compliance standards. This will include formulation and implementation of required policies procedures institutional arrangements within the business and with external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the accuracy integrity and academic quality and standards including external examining programme approval review and quality assessment.
- Implement quality assurance mechanisms according to policy and that MasterStart s humancentered design needs are being accurately implemented.
- Provide Academic support to the Head of Product and Engagement and the Chief Learning Officer.
- Compile and submit accreditation monitoring and evaluation reports etc.
- Coordinate compile and chair committees as required.
- Review update and handover academic policies and processes.
- Develop MasterStart quality assurance frameworks processes and supporting documentation.
- Document processes between academics and the overall Experience team.
- Quality assures the Product to ensure all academic requirements are met.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Master s with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Higher Education sector
- Excellent knowledge of the HE/QCTO and its accreditation processes
- Experience writing policies and conducting academic audits
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player and ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced environment
Working hours
- 5 days per week 8:00 17:00 (hybrid)
