QA Engineer

Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Syracuse NY

Duration: 12 months

This position is for a Supplier Quality Engineer. Looking for a SQE who can coordinate with Sourcing Operations Design Engineering the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design production test and qualification of aerospace and defense products. Analyses technical data designs preliminary specifications manufacturing limitations supplier facilities and parts/equipment availability. Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications costs inspection of facilities and historical performance.

This positioned will be focused on the evaluation and disposition of suspect nonconforming materials. The candidate will need to be able provide final disposition of rejected material and work with key stakeholders to return products to vendors for evaluation/rework/repair/replacement. Candidate will need to work with vendors to obtain return authorization as well as obtain root.
