That s why our team developed the Ling app a language learning app focused on offering highquality lesson content for Asian and Eastern European languages.

Our team is seeking a creative and talented team member to join us as a Social Media Content Creator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing unique and creative assets for our social media channels with a focus on shortform videos published on TikTok and Meta channels (Instagram Facebook).
Our dream content creator has already produced and published countless videos on these platforms and understands how to capture attention and hold it through the video causing the platform s algorithm to promote it and drive additional views and engagement. They have had first hand success building an audience while being faithful to the brand and its values (even if this was your own personal brand).

Responsibilities
- Produce planned and timely video content for social media channels with a focus on TikTok Facebook and Instagram.
- Collaborate with the social media team and the marketing team at large to develop ideas and content plans for your channels.
- Offer input and creative ideas to other team members working on other channels.
- Be responsive. Build a plan but be ready to take advantage of a new opportunity for content production and publishing.
- Leverage assets created by other teams and designers in the company for your channels.
- Write specifications and work with other team members and freelancers to acquire additional video assets if and when needed.
- Develop unique standout content that catches people s attention and holds them through the video.
- Create or manage the creation of thumbnails titles hashtags.
- Engage with the community members who react to your posts. Be the voice of Ling to these people.
- Report on the effectiveness of the videos created. Use data to develop hypotheses about what works best and what doesn t and use these to grow views and subscribers and to improve view and engagement rates of your posts over time.
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing your social media content. Ideally a successful channel(s) you have built where you have been the primary creator.
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Marketing and Design Multimedia and Animation Art or a related field is a plus.
- At least one year s experience posting regularly on one of the platforms in focus (Meta or TikTok) .
- Proficiency in video production: filming lighting editing sound and graphics. Passion for experimentation with the latest capabilities of these platforms and discovering the trends and styles that drive views.
- Good command of the English language written and spoken.
- Strategic and analytical mindset.
- Creativity and brainstorming abilities.
- Highlevel computer competency.
- Experience delivering videos efficiently and within deadlines.
- Organization and teamwork.
