- Perfect craftsmanship in stone wall construction using traditional mortar.
- Perfect craftsmanship in the construction of traditional wooden roofs and full knowledge of the full components of the wooden roof built using the traditional and old style of Qatari architecture.
- Make plaster to the required consistency and apply to surface using any necessary tools to produce required finish.
- Produce ornamental moldings from casts or by hand carving.
- Measure, mix, and apply any plaster works with any plastering materials and ornamental plasterwork on walls.
- Check finish to ensure that all services are level and joints are sealed.
- Maintain competence in the use of power and hand tools required for general plastering and masonry stonework.
- Prepare lists of materials required for plastering and stonework.
- Maintain an awareness of all health and safety rules applying to all plastering, tradition wooden work, and stonework. and tools used to ensure that safe working practices are observed.
- Maintain any required records of work carried out.
