Job Description

preparation and cooking of various dishes in accordance with the standardised recipes and guidelines provided.

  • Ensure that all ingredients are properly measured weighed and prepared for cooking.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station following all hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in the mise en place and stock rotation to ensure timely availability of ingredients and minimize wastage.
  • Follow food safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe handling storage and preparation of food items.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service during busy periods.
  • Monitor and control the quality of food items prepared to meet the established standards of taste presentation and portion size.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen including dishwashing and equipment cleaning.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques food preparation and kitchen equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other kitchen staff.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
