Intro

We are seeking a highly organized Billing Specialist to join our team and manage the billing process The new colleague will be responsible for reviewing and preparing invoices ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data resolving billing issues and maintaining accurate records The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail excellent organizational and communication skills the ability to work independently and also as part of a team

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and validate accuracy and completeness of billing information provided by the Reporting team in each invoicing cycle
  • Responsible for activities related billing preparation and timely submission of billing to the AR team for processing of invoices
  • Manage and resolve all invoicing issues from Global Delivery Leads and Accounts Receivable team during invoice approving process
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment
  • Resolve billing issues such as discrepancies or disputes by communicating with clients the Contracting Reporting team and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and review unapproved invoices and following up with the appropriate teams to ensure invoices are posted and send out to clients
  • Maintain the invoicing tracker and share with the Reporting team for the next billing cycle
  • Prepare various reports and spreadsheets related to billing and receivables as required
  • Work with the central collection team and business stakeholders to improve collections and reduce outstanding unpaid balances

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
  • A minimum years of strong experience in billing accounting or a related field preferably in an international organization working with different teams across different time zones
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced level of Ms Excel knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Experience in a professional services industry or field is a plus
