MO - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant - Osage Beach

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional Surgical First Assist to join our CVOR team. This position is active in the peri-operative, intra-operative, and post-post-operative phases of the patients' experience. These activities are based that the care of the Surgical Patient is based on knowledge, skills, and interpersonal competencies. The ultimate goal of this position is to assist in the provision of quality individualized Patient Care. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.Key Job Responsibilities: Assist in the provision of quality individualized patient care and may include peer education. Maintenance of the sterile field. Advocacy. Efficient provision of resources. Maintenance of supply inventory. Enforcement of standards. Integration and coordination of care across the surgical setting. Qualifications: Graduate from an approved course in Surgical Technology or related curriculum. One year of experience in a multidisciplined OR in an acute care hospital setting is preferred. Required Licensure, Certification or Registry. Current BLS certification along with current certification with the National Association of Surgical Technologists. Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
