HR Generalist
Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration. This position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
Conduct thorough candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing processes.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
Manage the entire recruitment life cycle, from posting job openings to extending offers.
Onboarding:
Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for employees.
Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies and culture.
Facilitate the completion of required paperwork and compliance documents.
Coordinate with various departments to integrate new employees into their roles.
Offboarding:
Coordinate the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
Process termination paperwork and handle related documentation.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to deactivate system access for departing employees.
Provide support to employees during the transition and ensure a positive exit experience.
Benefits Management:
Administer employee benefits programs, including all insurance plans.
Assist employees with benefit inquiries and refer to broker for claim inquiries.
Stay informed about changes in benefit laws and regulations.
Conduct benefits orientations and communicate updates to employees.
General HR Support:
Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in ADP Workforce Now.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in HR
Experience with HRIS; preferably ADP WorkforceNow
Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to hit the ground running
