Controller

• Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Finance Committee and report monthly on the prior month’s financials statements.
• Report to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee monthly on the fiscal health of the Organization.
• Develop budgets that meet the requirements of all programs and operations.
• Create reports and work directly with CEO to evaluate internal reporting systems.
• Create and execute a plan to improve the management of financial statements and annual financial audit.
• Lead audit and internal control processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, required
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Applicant will demonstrate an extensive understanding of GAAP
• A strong background In nonprofit management highly preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management.
• In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks, accounting software, corporate principles, and financial analysis.
