Objective:

As the HR Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, your primary mission is to cultivate and nurture a positive culture firmly grounded in people-centric strategies. You will take the lead in elevating employee engagement, bolstering retention rates, facilitating the company's growth, and executing impactful continuous improvement initiatives. Your pivotal role extends to supporting organizational leaders in maintaining consistency in cultural expectations, fostering meaningful dialogues, shaping the company's overall image, driving momentum through engagement, advocating for a people-centric culture, and putting the organization's core values into practice.

Primary Responsibility: As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will oversee various aspects of human resources for the organization, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. This includes managing benefits and labor budgets, conducting HR reporting, and utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting. Additionally, the HR Manager will be responsible for efficient payroll administration and implementing effective workplace planning strategies to support the organization's growth and success.

Specific Duties:

  1. Collaborate in shaping and constructing the HR roadmap, pinpointing areas of opportunity and strengths, executing new programs and changes, and overseeing the management of existing successful initiatives.
  2. Expand the reach of HR by fostering partnerships and relationships both within the company and with external vendors.
  3. Assist in the development and management of the labor budget process within the HR department.
  4. Contribute to the formulation and execution of organization-wide design and development programs that align with the company's overarching goals.
  5. Play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of annual compensation policies and practices, including the performance review and management cycle, incentive plans, etc. Additionally, conduct a comprehensive audit of HR policies and procedures, making necessary adjustments and updates.
  6. Ensure the HR department's strict adherence to local, state, and federal laws, as well as compliance requirements associated with grants received by the organization.
  7. Lead HR initiatives as directed by the Director of HR and the Senior Leadership Team.
  8. Administer payroll processes efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in human resources, with a strong focus on HR reporting, budgeting, driving continuous improvement, fostering a positive culture, and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including advanced Excel capabilities, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record of creating and successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Possession of an HR certification is a plus.
