ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Overview
Our client is currently seeking several financial professionals to join their well-established teams in the California Bay Area; Seattle, WA; or Portland, OR.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare paperwork and meeting agendas for clients
- Execute client requests in a timely manner
- Onboard new clients utilizing various internal and external systems
- Collaborate across multiple teams, such as tax, trading, and financial planning, to formulate recommendations for clients
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or other related fields
- 1 to 3 years of related experience in the financial service industry
- Series 65
- Currently working on or is interested in obtaining the CFP designation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or related software
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately manage multiple tasks with multilevel steps
- Personable, with the ability to connect with clients and build trust in a professional manner via e-mail, phone, and in-person interactions
- The cognizance to recognize the emotions of clients and communicate appropriately with clients in a variety of situations
- Embody confidence and certainty in speech and body language
- Analytical, with the ability to produce what the clients express and convey, in order to provide appropriate recommendations to meet their goals
- The flexibility to prioritize daily tasks in a consistent, efficient, and effective manner
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information entrusted by the clients
