Description

We are looking for a qualified Director of Wellness to directly support the mission of Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys. The person best suited for this role is an outstanding communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be an organized self-starter with a heart for people and an eye for detail. The best candidates will have an advanced degree, significant experience with school or system level operations as well as knowledge of the technology , data systems and software used to engage this work.
Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, support and monitor physical and mental health initiatives to address the Social Emotional Academic Learning component of the Statesmen program
  • Oversee a suite of wellbeing professionals and providers delivering the program
  • Liaise with Senior Leadership to coordinate Positive Behavior Incentives and Support, Restorative Justice, Crew Systems and Discipline Hierarchy
  • Support the coordination of a comprehensive wellbeing program targeting students, families, faculty and staff
  • Liaise with the Student Support Services Team in a schoolwide effort to deliver a safe school environment
  • Ensure the regular and appropriate communication with students receiving services, their families, with and between teachers and administrators

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (or a qualified exemption)
