We are looking a dynamic sales leader who has held leaderships level responsibilities and has managed large volume P&L for a Client of us who are a leading electronic & computers devices distributor in India


1. Responsible for driving partnership and business growth with partners in the region.

2. Innovation in business model, bringing new strategy and models.

3. Familiar with latest and high-tech areas like analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital platform.

4. Develop and execute the channel strategy, to ensure long term and sustainable channel partnership, contributing to performance & achievement of business growth through the channel partners.

5. Success will be measured, through revenues, collection, profitability and building future pipelines.

6. Deploying stock management strategy effectively in the region and to ensure reduce any pile up of stocks in warehouses.

7. Responsible for managing and evaluating credit risk for existing / potential channel partners in the region.

8. To be people leader in motivating and providing direction for the team to perform well.


Key Responsibilities:

1 Develop and Execute the Channel Strategy:


  • Develop strategy that would provide breadth and depth in growth within the partners for increased revenue.
  • Strategize and executve to give a sustainable revenue through the channel.
  • Deploy a plan that would be contributing to the business growth.


2 Grow Channel:

  • On-board new channel partners.
  • Provide good coverage of all partners in the region.
  • Implement newer GTM strategy
  • Create visibility and availability of the all products & services (Product Play Book) in the region.
  • Take feedback and develop market intelligence on competition, other potential aspect that would affect growth.


3 Target vs Achievement:

  • Fix right target, across various products for the region.
  • Constantly review the performance of the targets (across products)
  • Achievement and drive for over achievement of the target.
  • Deploy measurements, across products and partners. Measure the partnerwise achievement and similarly productwise acheivement, so as to assess growth from right dimenstions.


4 Technology

  • Familiar with latest and high-tech areas like analytics and artificial intelligence.
  • Adopt the latest technology in business and ensures the latest tech innovations reached the target markets faster.
  • Possess the understanding to develop a strong end to end digital business model


5 Alliances

  • Create capable partner network for new innovative ways and means to take the business to next level
  • Alliances and long-term alignment with key accounts


6 Business Relationship and Engagement:

  • Train patners on products and product features.
  • Develop strategic visit plans, detailing which partner will be visited on monthly, quarterly, etc.
  • Develop a plan to ensure, there are touch points with every partner in the region, either through in-person meetings, or virtually.
  • Study feedback of customer through a professional survey in the region. Work on the feedback to plug any gaps.
  • Timely and proper execution of sales related activities (like Forum, etc) within the region.


7 Stock Management:

  • To effectively manage the inventory levels in the region.
  • Get reports of the stock and monitor the movement of stocks. Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
  • Ensuring product stock is adequately available and can deliver any demand arising from partners.


8 Analytics:

  • Use analytics for understanding the performance of product sales, etc.
  • Study market and customer behaviour, to plan the buisness development accordingly.
  • Analyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development,


9 Credit Management and Risk Evaluation:

  • To built strong working relationship with credit team in the region and organization.
  • Evaluate the credit worthiness of the partners and predict any risks.
  • Providing insights to credit team, on approval of the credit limits or credit period.
  • Promoting best practices of credit and ensuring programs like channel financing is leveraged.
  • Ensuring collection on time, and if any bad debt arise, follow the legal process for quick recovery of receivables.


10 People Leader

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, to povide directions and motivate, his or her teams or an individual to accomplish a certain goal.
  • Guide and provide insiprations to take the initiatives necessary for success.
  • Encourage learning within the team and build a strong team with good capabilities (both technical and soft skills).
  • Set right objectives (Targets and KRAs) for team to aim for the goal and achieve it.


Experience :-


Working experience of around 15 - 20 years and last 3 years in leadership roles
