Virtual Legal Assistant (Graveyard Shift | USA Client)
  • Full-time | 40 hours per week
  • The offer is at Php 33,000 take-home pay per month
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am PHT Manila Time

About the client:

The client is a well-established law firm located in Northern California that represents victims of personal injury and work injuries for over 30 ; They strive to meet the legal needs of our clients and their families, by offering personalized service that allows us to understand each client s individual They employ the latest technology and legal research tools to maximize client


Responsibilities:
  • Assist on documentation and coordination with insurance companies (Adjustors) and other parties involved in the cases
  • Make and receive calls from clients, companies and other parties that are inquiring, calling back, or need to provide more
  • Generate initial documents needed
  • Perform researches
  • Utilize MerusCases case management system to monitor notifications or reminders for follow ups to be done
  • Calendar and schedule management
  • Tag and update customer s information through the case management system
  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters, medical people, court representatives as instructed via phone and email
  • Handle inquiries and communicate basic information surrounding the case as needed
  • Fulfil data entry tasks
  • Liaise with other members of the team
  • Other adhoc tasks as assigned


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of work experience in a relevant or equivalent position
  • Strong Administrative support skills and background
  • Previous experience in a legal firm, insurance claims company or related body of service will be highly advantageous
  • Experience or working competency of using Merus Cases or Filevine will be a plus but not necessary
  • Must have and know how to use Adobe Acrobat for PDF file editing
  • Good handle of MS Applications particularly MS Word
  • Excellent English communication skills and comprehension
  • Great at time management to set and keep a good pace at work
  • Highly reliable, driven and works well independently and with the team
  • Very organized and keeps track of tasks well
  • Amenable and skilled at phone management with good phone manners
  • With customer service orientations and skills
  • Driven, motivated and a hard worker who values honest work
  • Must have initiative and is proactive in getting more things done
  • Able and willing to impart best practices to the client and the team
