Our client is a leading bank in Asia who is looking for a potential candidate to join their firm:
- Provide strategic recommendations to realign the balance sheet toward a more stable financing profile. Show active balance sheet management that is aligned with the market environment and incorporates new business scenario developments.
- Profitability is increased through optimizing the balance sheet, using disciplined deposit pricing, active loan repricing, and investigating various efforts to increase the return on surplus funds deployed.
- Work with business segments to conduct active management of deposit COF and administered loan repricing during rate hikes to manage the Bank s Net Interest Margin
- Communicate and coordinate with business to optimize NIM while ensuring relevant Regulatory and Group prudential limits within risk appetite
- Make sure the FTP methodology is in line with industry best practices and continually adjust the liquidity premium (LP) and liquidity charge (LC) to reflect changes in the market and the direction of the balance sheet and company.
- Provide consultation to business segments on the FTP best practice including Strategic Incentives proposal, new product set-up, etc.
- Proactive in recalibrating LP / LC calibration align with the dynamic market movement as well as addressing new business scenarios
Requirements
- Degree in Business/Accounting/Finances/Banking or related major.
- At least10 years of experience in financial services.
- Understanding and experience of Fund Transfer Pricing mechanism & methodology
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
