Flexographic Printing Press Operator Davie, FL
Must have at least 2 years experience printing on flexo presses.
Position: Flexographic Press Operator 2nd Shift Hours: Monday Friday 2pm-10pm
Key Objective: To be a team player while creating some of the best labels in the country by setting up and efficiently running a Flexo Press. Key Tasks: Mount and/or remount plates (as needed). Mix inks (as needed). Complete start-up checklists for all jobs run. Setup and operate press for production. Record stock usage. Use strobe and/or video web monitor for in-process inspection. Flag defective labels for rewind/inspection. Use spectrophotometer and densitometer (as required). Tag finished product for traceability. Complete required paperwork upon job completion. Communicate with opposite shift on any job or press related concerns. Press clean up and maintenance. Skills Requirement: Ability to assist in basic press maintenance Ability to lift 50 pounds Pay attention to detail Team player Experience/Education Requirements: 1 3 years experience with flexographic printing High School Diploma/GED Pass color perception test Ability to read a ruler Basic math skills with calculator
