We are currently seeking an 1st Line Technician for a leading technology service department. You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the service desk offering phone, remote, and on-site support to school based in Enfield, you will be tasked with the following:
- Acting as an escalation point for all technicians and managed service technicians.
- Supporting a small number of customers face to face on a recurring timetable
- Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
- Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
- Provide a high degree of customer service for all support issues, on-site or remotely
- Provide onsite support for selected VIP customers on a regular basic
- The key things we re looking for from our 1st Line IT Technician
- In-depth knowledge of Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX operating systems
- Strong knowledge of key Windows Server Management tools - AD / GPO / DHCP / DNS
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server - 2012r2 - 2022
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace for Education
- At least 1 years experience in a technical support role
- Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
