Seeking a Portuguese speaking disability support worker to work 1:1 with a mature male client of a leading NDIS Registered Provider, assisting with hydrotherapy, personal care and medication support. To be successful, applicants must have a high proficiency of spoken and written English along with high attention to detail.
All standard NDIS Worker documentation, registration, and certification must be submitted at your interview. Registration through NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory for all employees of NDIS Registered Providers before commencing work.
Requirements
In addition to NDIS Worker paperwork the role requires experience and skills for:
- Social and some personal care engagement for an older gentleman who only speaks Portuguese.
- Transportation and taking client for hydrotherapy sessions, personal care, manual handling and medication support.
- Cultural knowledge and sensitivity a must.
Benefits
Shifts available:
Monday and Friday 9am to 2pm
Possible Active overnights in the future
Hourly Pay Rates (excl. Super)
* Monday to Friday $31.90 per hour (weekdays)
Specific training provided for medication support.
