React Native Developer

We are looking for aReact Native Application Developerto produce scalable software solutions within Android and iOS. You ll be part of a cross-functional team that s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Mobile App Developer, you will work with our development team to oversee the creation and maintenance of custom mobile apps for our clients, and will collaborate with our design team to proactively identify areas of risk and propose possible solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Helping with the design and development of software
  
• Testing and debugging software to keep it optimized
  
• Writing clean code for the front and back end of the software
  
• Designing user interactions on the web application itself
  
• Creating servers and databases for the back end of the software
  
• Ensuring cross-platform compatibility and optimization
  
• Testing and maintaining the responsive design of applications
  
• Working with graphic designers to design new features
  
• Developing APIs and RESTful services
  
• Keeping up with technological advances to optimize their software
  
• Communicating effectiveness of emerging technologies to decision makers
  
• Considering security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing
  

Requirements

General

• Colombian citizen, or resident with a work permit.
  
• Proven experience as a Mobile Application Developer
  
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field is a plus
  
• Full English proficiency, both oral and written, is mandatory.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Great attention to detail
  
• Organizational skills
  
• An analytical mind
  

Technical

• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Android market
  
• In-depth knowledge of React Native.
  
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  
• Familiarity with OOPdesign principles
  
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  
• Ability to perform in a team environment
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
