Business Development (Intern/Working Student)

At Vicoland, we give the gig economy a new dimension: Virtual Companies, in short: Vicos . We invented Vicos to allow freelancers to team up and act as if they were a real company, competing successfully for interesting, large projects.

Our SaaS platform provides all the tech which enables the collaboration of Vicos and their clients & a marketplace that matches them together.

Our Vicos are already transforming how digital projects are done - since our launch last year, they worked with several world-renowned clients and partners such as Netflix, Tupperware, BectonDickinson, HDI and Colliers. We were mentioned by Forbes ad Forrester as the leading marketplace for freelance teams.

We're laser-focused on our growth and accelerating the addition of interesting enterprises wanting to do projects with Vicos. To drive our innovation further we are looking for a Business Development intern or Working student with experience in recruiting talent and building long-lasting relationships to support the growth of our Vicoland community.

We're a team of 40+ people located across Europe and the US.

Tasks

What you ll do

• Work closely with the Head of BD and the founders to translate strategy and key targets into concrete action plans
• Actively find new & innovative solutions for Vicoland s main strategic & operational challenges
• Guide, discuss and clarify client needs into concise project briefs and processes, and present output and discuss feedback with customers
• Scope, budget, plan, coordinate and execute your projects for our clients
• Brief, staff and manage freelancers as a helpful value-adding partner
• Discover and engage in existing marketing and creative communities to grow our brand
• Have fun while learning!

Requirements

On the look for

• Ability and motivation to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and work-intensive environment - we're looking for drive. Our team wants to achieve big things with Vicoland!
• An excellent track record in fast-paced work environments (Entrepreneurship, startups, company building, management consulting) demonstrating swift professional growth is a plus
• Good understanding of digital business models
• Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues
• Strong attention to detail & hands-on mentality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
