Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Procedures Managerto join their team.

The Manager Knowledge Management is responsible for leading and supporting a team of Content Developers to prepare for Workforce Services future state model with the design and development of accurate business documentation to support Workforce Services processes. They are also responsible for the creation and implementation of a formal knowledge management governance model for Workforce Services.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement a formal knowledge management governance model for Workforce Services to ensure that information is accurate, complete and available by relevant parties.
  2. Manage the end to end process of developing Workforce Services business documents in accordance with the Written Direction Framework, including communication and publication.
  3. Provide operational guidance and management to the Workforce Services Content Developers to create a suite of business documentation, including work instructions, knowledge articles, quick reference guides, checklists, forms and templates to support Workforce Services processes in accordance with policy, procedure and process.
  4. Lead the team in collaboration with Workforce Services stakeholders statewide to co-ordinate and create a single source of truth for all business documentation.
  5. Ensure periodic review of Workforce Services Content Library, including update review schedule and version controls.
  6. Plan and implement a consistent approach to developing business documentation in accordance with the governance and approvals process whilst leading the team in creating and managing the business documentation backlog and prioritisation of activities.
  7. Liaise and collaborate with Workforce Services leadership team to ensure requirements are being met within the agreed timelines.
  8. Maintain register and version controls to ensure consistency and accuracy of knowledge articles.
  9. Manage the review process including syntactic, semantic and pragmatic checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  10. Design and manage the Communication and Implementation Plan including communication to stakeholders to support business objectives.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience establishing and developing knowledge materials, business documentation and knowledge management systems to support operational needs in a HR context or similar.
  2. A sound knowledge of HR systems including SharePoint and HPCM, and competency using Microsoft Office.
  3. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship skills to effectively communicate and embed new knowledge materials and including documented instructions and process into practice.

On offer is a 7 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
