STORE CLERK & GENERAL LABOUR
Responsibilities Include
o Greeting customers
o Providing general product information (specifications, cooking and/or storage and handling instructions)
o Assisting customers with placing orders and loading (when reasonably available)
o POS (point-of-sale) operation
o Processing and Collection of customer payments
o Order Picking
o Order and/or Delivery loading/unloading
o Stocking shelves, walk-in, and display freezers
o Assist drivers on deliveries
o Allocating time and resources to complete all daily tasks within regular store-hours
o Assembly of corrugated boxes
o Packaging of select products
o Sales Reps sample preparations
o Maintaining premises clean and orderly
o General janitorial duties
Seasonal Hours
o March thru October - 6 shifts per week, 10-12 hours per shift (Monday thru Saturday)
o November thru February - 4 to 6 shifts per week, 10-12 hours per shift (Depending on availability of Driver(s))
Work Environment
o Shift START time is 7:00am, Shift END time is 5:00pm (Monday thru Friday)
o Shift START time is 7:30am, Shift END time is 3:00pm (Saturday)
o Paid Break(s)
o Lift up to 70lbs
Wage(s)
o Training and Probation period (first 3-months): $18.00
o Permanent Placement Wage: $20.00
Interview and Trail
o In-person interview required.
o Candidates must bring ID and SIN.
o Criminal Check is required
