To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model, and take an active part in our growth, Mirakl is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

About Mirakl Labs:

Our technical department, Mirakl Labs, is spread over 2 regional hubs located in Paris & Bordeaux. Our teams collaborate intensively to meet the needs of all our customers and users by adapting to various challenges related to new features, scalability, security and ergonomics.

We operate in agile mode and our Feature Teams are made up of Product Managers, Developers and QA. Each of these teams specializes in a functional area (Marketplace, Catalog, Connect, Connectors, etc.). They design and implement the evolutions of functionalities and APIs (with a microservices architecture). Our SRE / Infra, Architecture, Security, Documentation, Support, Design and Data teams operate across the board, bringing their expertise and consistency to all projects.

All our teams have ownership within their scope and each of the employees brings their experience and ideas. Innovation, feedback and involvement in decision-making are at the heart of our philosophy.

You will work as a React.JS developer in a team of 5 people dedicated to a new Saas Mirakl application. This new product, currently under development, will allow merchants to increase their sales on marketplaces.

The use of this new application will be via a back office. This is a center piece allowing merchants to pilot the solution.

Your objective within the team will be to achieve this business back office, which must be easy to use, ergonomic and aesthetic while guaranteeing the quality of the code and sharing your expertise with the rest of the squad :)

On a daily basis, you will:

Work hand in hand with UX teams on the evolution of components, and UX UI standardization

Participate in the technical-functional designs of user stories with our Product Owners and provide recommendations in terms of UI and UX

Contribute to the evolution of the front architecture: tools used, libraries, frameworks, technology migrations, guaranteeing excellent productivity and easy maintenance

Raise the skills of feature team developers with more back profiles

Be a source of innovation by being proactive and participate in Mirakls technological development on Front technologies

Requirements

Our stack and tools:

React 17, Typescript, React Hook Form, Styled Components, Jest, React Testing Library, Babel, Webpack

You have at least 5 years experience in front-end development

You have real pedagogy skills and ability to share your knowledge

You know how to lead design meetings, or cross-functional projects with tech and non-tech stakeholders

You know modern JavaScript (ES2021, Babel...), modern CSS (Sass, Less, CSS-in-JS: Styled Component, CSS modules...)

You have significant experience with a React-like framework (React, Preact, Inferno...)
