DevOps Engineer

Product: You will work on a product that helps people to save their money, house or even life - Insurances comparison portal. This portalhelps people to find outwhich type of insurance is essential in their current life situation and which is better to choose.

Your area of responsibility:

• You are responsible for managing, setting up and rolling out our servers (virtual and physical)
  
• You are directly involved in the construction, optimization, scaling and further development of the overall architecture
  
• You extend companys Puppet recipes to further improve the DevOps infrastructure
  
• Active exchange of knowledge through reviews of your colleagues pull requests
  
• In close cooperation with the software developers you control the expansion of the deployment processes (CI/CD)
  
• You implement security and monitoring strategies and solutions with your team
  

Requirements

• Quality awareness, team spirit and solution-oriented work characterize you
  
• You have sound professional experience as a DevOps Engineer in the field of Debian/Ubuntu Linux
  
• You are already secure in dealing with Nginx, Bash, PHP-FPM and MySQL (replication, backup etc.)
  
• You have experience in systems such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet or Chef
  
• Knowledge of a scripting language such as PHP or Python is an advantage
  
• You enjoy working in an agile team
  
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German
