Business Development Executive - Staffing

As a technology provider in the areas of IT, Engineering, and Healthcare, we are looking for a talented business development executive to join our amazing team in Chicago. We are looking for someone who will continue to develop our staffing augmentation services. You are also competitive and performance-oriented person who is driven to achieve goals
We are looking for someone who has prior Business Development experience, preferably in the areas of staffing (contract, contract-to-hire, and perm roles). This position will involve travel to our Seattle, and Edison locations in addition to supporting the Chicago area. As the business expands, there may be additional national travel.
Responsibilities
- Sell, research, and develop new account opportunities through an understanding of the current needs of the local market including future projects and growth projections, by utilizing tactical selling techniques.
- Sell staffing solutions to prospective clients in need of IT/ Engineering/ Healthcare professionals for temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire assistance (direct hire being the least priority)
- Actively sell against competitors
- High energy and always looking to improve
- Self-starter that can take action without being instructed
- Establish relationships with new account prospects to succeed with acquiring their business.
- Maintain client relationships and identify growth opportunities within current clients by understanding the needs of the business through active client communication.
- Documenting and recording all sales activity in CRM.
- Excellent Customer Service and communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Excellent tactical skills, cold-calling capabilities, negotiation and a strong sales acumen.
- Strong relationship building skills particularly with key-decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Provide weekly opportunity summaries and updates for new business activity.
- Provide updated pipeline details for opportunities in the sales cycle.
- Have a strong sales presence and ability to market candidates to the client as a best match for their needs.
- Complete and maintain reports on a regular basis and as requested.
- Ensure client expectations are met throughout the sales and execution process
- Enhance staff morale through regular sync ups, team/account events, and appropriate escalations to management.
