MAIN PURPOSE:

The Cloud Product Manager is driving the innovation and growth of Ignion s cloud solutions, through leading the definition and execution of our Antenna Intelligence Cloud (AIC) solution roadmap. Our cloud solution is revolutionizing the way antennas are designed for IoT devices and is enabling IoT hardware developers with no antenna expertise to design and prototype their antenna solution as a digital twin before building any hardware.

As our Cloud Product Manager, you understand the importance of good user experience and you are intimate with the specific needs for a Cloud based design tool to be successful. You are cognizant of the technical challenges as well as business challenges in relation to cloud-based development. You excel in identifying market and user needs, through customer interviews as well as market and competitor research. Additionally, you are keen to learn about IoT development and antenna implementation.

The Cloud Product Manager owns our cloud strategy and someone in this role works with both business and technology teams to ensure alignment and success for the customers and meets with alpha customers to ensure new features are on point with the market needs.

As Cloud Product Manager, you will spearhead the overall cloud development, covering from the frontend & web graphical user interface to the core cloud engine functionality. You will be responsible for on-time delivery and collaborate with the technical leads to successfully deliver and launch new solutions.

The Cloud Product Manager advocates a simplified customer design journey and provides input on thought leadership to the marketing team on positioning on our solutions. You will take an important role in shaping the future of the company s solutions and products.

Sr Director of Business Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing and executing Ignion s Cloud solution strategy targeted at IoT device developers.
  • Drive the functionality and user experience of the Cloud solutions, from frontend GUI to core engine.
  • Translate customer pain points and customer needs into new solutions, while expanding relationship with our alpha customers developer teams.
  • Conduct competitor research and perform market analysis to position Ignion s solution offering.
  • Establish and monitor mechanism for tracking feedback and user net promoter score.
  • Drive NPI (New Product Introduction) process and roadmap for new Cloud solutions, including business models for new SW and cloud features.
  • Collaborate with web UX, engineering & R&D teams to realize the new features. Lead status meetings to ensure timely execution.
  • Represent voice of the customer within the company for both technical and marketing related activities.
  • Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.
  • Drives continuous improvement of product management processes and costs to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
  • Monthly reporting of Cloud product milestones and budget to leadership team.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor in software development, computer science, electrical engineering, or telecommunications required.
  • Master s in Marketing or Business Administration desirable.

SKILLS

  • Min. 3-5 years background in product management related role.
  • Experience in leading web UX & UI related projects.
  • Cloud tools & Cloud technology experience desirable.
  • IoT & semiconductor industry experience as well as technical understanding of antennas is desirable.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) and feature requests.
  • Capable of translating complex technical needs into easy-to-understand feature requests.
  • Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to internal and external executive teams in a succinct manner.
  • Self-driven, analytical mindset able to drive prioritization efforts.
  • Ability to lead both web UX and cloud teams.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic for new challenges.
  • Experience working with global teams is a plus.
  • Proficient in English, both oral and written.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • This role carries strategic importance and is placed in our HQ in Barcelona, relocation support is an option for global applicants.
  • Full time role.
  • Expected travel: 15 days a year.
