Business Finance Senior Controller

Respponsibilities:

• Lead the cost controlling function, providing timely and accurate cost analyses to the management team and EEC and PA Finance and make recommendations on optimization of business performance.
• Manage the cash cycle to ensure uninterrupted business performance and maintain the respective KPIs as communicated by EEC and PA Finance.
• Ensure that all locally required statutory and tax records are properly maintained and are up to date.
• Design, implement and maintain a system of internal controls in accordance with SE’ policies, procedures and best practice.
• Provide an involved business partnering support to the management team incl. forecasting and annual planning cycles; develop and maintain robust budgetary controls.
• Set personal targets to the local accounting team, review their performance and take necessary action to coach, develop and upgrade it.
• Perform continuous improvement of processes to increase efficiency and improve profitability.
• Be the contact person for and liaise with external and internal audit, National statistics, tax authorities, banks, insurance and the group legal counsel.
• Assist EEC and PA Finance with other issues as and when needed.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting standards especially POC accounting
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
